Luggage/Boot Rack to Mazda MX-5 Miata 2015+ (model ND)
This luggage rack is tailor made to fit the Mazda MX5 2015 and later (model ND) with soft top. This luggage rack come with a “third brake light” on the rear section (required by european law), all prepared for easier connection.
It is the perfect way to increase luggage space for holidays, car shows, and days out. It is exceptionally strong, capable of carrying up to 15kg in luggage weight (up to 160 km/h).
Fitment is very easy and no drilling or permanent fixing is required, it simply fastens onto outside edges of the boot lid, using clamps. A special protective rubber is used to prevent scratches to the paintwork. The luggage rack is TÜV tested and compliant (160 km/h).
Please note that it may not fit, if you have a boot spoiler mounted to your MX-5.

I have now installed it, but not been able to test it out with bags onto of it. Great instructions, they were easy to follow. Necessary tools are supplied with the luggage rack. The construction seem solid and the third brake light is nicely integrated. Small area of improvement: the boxing was made with too sticky tape.

If something, I would ideally like to have the measure in the manual how far from the top part of the boot to place it, but I guess it should also be some small thing to figure out oneself.
