These are the key features (that you can set to active, or not) of this SmartTop:
- Remote control of convertible top Open/Close your convertible top using the original factory remote control key / key fob.
- One-Touch power convertible top “One-Touch” convertible top operation allows your top to open or close automatically.
- Individually programmable Configure functions of the module to meet your personal preferences via our signature blinker setup menu.
- Passive / Invisible mode Turn the whole module off with an easy key sequence. Ideal when letting someone else drive your car.
- Top convenience mode Turning the ignition on or off does not interrupt convertible top operation.
- Reversible plug-in installation Remove any time allowing sale or return of a leased vehicle in it’s original condition.
- Plug-n-Play Wiring harness Custom designed plug-in-between wiring harness for extremely simple and quick installation included.

Igår monterade jag min Smart Top-enhet och det gick alldeles utmärkt.
Funktionerna fungerar som de ska och själva installationen var förvånansvärt enkel och tog faktiskt knappt en halvtimme. Instruktionerna är pedagogiska och för ovanlighetens skull i den här typen av sammanhang, näst intill heltäckande.
Efter att ha konstaterat att funktionerna fungerade som de ska var det dags att montera tillbaka panelen.
Detta var lite meckigare – ett råd är att sätta sig in i vilka delar av den som ska fästas var i karossen innan man trycker fast klämmorna och drar dit skruvarna. Glöm inte heller att sätta tillbaka kabeln i högtalaren så slipper man lossa panelen en gång i onödan. Efter lite pill var allt på plats igen, med USB-kabeln lätt tillgänglig bakom det fällbara baksätet.
Kontakten med Peter har varit både smidig och trevlig, med snabba svar och vänligt bemötande.
Sammanfattningsvis kan jag inte vara mer nöjd!

Yesterday I installed the Smart-TOP unit, and it went just excellent.
The functions work as they should, and the installation was surprisingly easy and took just below 30 minutes. The instructions are very pedagogic and, as is unusual in cases like this, covering absolutely every single step for guidance.
After checking that all the functions worked as they should, I would then start to reinstall the side panels.
This was a little trickier – and my tip to others are to check where every bit a piece should be connected to the panels, before you start to push in the fixings and screw back the screws. Do not forget to attach the cable to the speaker, then you do not have to open the panel once more to get that right. After some work with this, I got everything back again, and the USB cable nicely sticking out from behind the foldable rear seat.
The contact with Peter at Toplift has been peasant and convenient, with fast and friendly approach.
To summarize – I can not be other than more than very pleased!
