This SmartTOP fit Volvo C70 from year 2006 and later models.

These are the key features (that you can set to active, or not) of the Volvo C70 SmartTop:

  • Remote control of convertible top
    Open/Close your convertible top using the original factory remote control key / key fob.
  • Individually programmable
    Configure all functions of the module to meet your personal preferences via our signature blinker setup menu.
  • Open/Close the top while driving
    Open/Close your top while driving. Speed programmable (up to 60kmh).
  • One-Touch power convertible top
    “One-Touch” convertible top operation allows your top to open or close automatically.
  • Passive / Invisible mode
    Turn the whole module off with an easy key sequence. Ideal when letting someone else drive your car.
  • Top convenience mode
    Turning the ignition on or off does not interrupt convertible top operation.
  • Comfort window close
    One-Touch operation when closing all windows simultaneously via the separate driver’s door switch.
  • Automatic door unlocking
    Automatically unlock the doors when turning the ignition off. No more pulling the door handle twice.
  • Mirror Park Assist
    This feature can automatically dip down the passenger mirror in reverse gear.
  • Hazard Signals
    Optionally the hazard blinkers are activated while top is operated from the remote.
  • Reversible plug-in installation
    Remove any time allowing sale or return of a leased vehicle in it’s original condition.
  • Plug-n-Play Wiring harness
    Custom designed plug-in-between wiring harness for extremely simple and quick installation included.
  • USB Port for easy setup / updates
    This module can be configured and updated using any Mac or PC.

    I bought a Smarttop for my C70. Awesome little thing this I must say, a true must for us with high interest for technical things. I read the installation instruction and guide that came with the Smarttop, and installed it myself. Took about 30 minutes of time. Good mail conversation with Toplift that directed me to a installer service company in Stockholm if I would have wanted help with the installation. I have not yet been able to try out all the functions just yet, as the weather got bad quite soon after the installation. But of the functions I did tested, they all worked very well at once.     Now I have got the SmartTOP installed in my C70 from 2008. Volvo Rejmes in Söderköping installed the module for me in about 1/2 hours and I paid 1000 kr, it was worth it. I was a little insecure about installing it myself, that is why I asked the Volvo service center. I am super happy, I must say that there should not be more than 20 km/h for the the folding of the roof, this is was VOLVO recommends, and did set it to 20 km/h. For function number 7 to work you need to have the seat memory installed, and I have not got the seat memory. A big thanks to Peter at Toplift that has answered all my questions, and even programmed the functions I wanted into the SmartTOP module. A Smart TOP is highly recommended!!
