The hoist system that Toplift offer is made in USA from a manufacturer that has got more than 30 years experience from constructing tailor made hardtop lifting systems.

The Mercedes SL 1965-1989 hardtop hoist is custom made to fit this model only. No matter what lifting system you choose, the Hardtop hoist will be delivered complete with all necessary installation hardware. Installation times average between 30 and 60 minutes, normally.

The hoist system is made of two main components;

• The Lifting Bar – utilizes a rubber coated cross bar and tower assembly to clamp into the drip rail. The hardtop will balance as it is supported at the rear most location of the drip rail.
• Choose on of the three Lifting systems – that are all easily installed in a ceiling of 2,2 meters or higher and easy to operate. No matter which one you choose, necessary hardware and fasteners are included;
  • Manual Pulley System;
    — Block and tackle pulley system 7:1
    — Includes necessary hardware and fasteners
  • Brake Winch Hoist with crank;
    — Ratio of 36:1
    — Sturdy wire, mechanism and crank
    — Includes necessary hardware and fasteners
  • Motorized Lifting System; 
    — Powerful and durable motor and wire built-in a black steel protective cover
    — Indefinitely suspends up to 100 pounds with block and tackle system
    — Including adapter for European electrical socket
    — Long Lifetime

The hardtop hoists was a stocked items at Toplift. Normal delivery time was just a few days from your order. However, the stock is now all out for all hoists, and the production have ceased, so there is no possibility to order or deliver the hoists at the moment.
